  • When a busy mum decides to put her attention to starting up a business it is bound to end up in a raving success. Well, we found a perfect example to proof this point in the amazingly busy, quirky and witty Sarah Watts. Being the mother of triplets she fancied herself as a bit of an expert in keeping kids entertained, so she decide to translate it into a product range that is unique, extremely cool and practical. We asked how it all started and what else we can expect from her company "Two Little Boys". And what about the name?
  • Sustainable and ethical design products are one of the major trends we have seen emerging over the past years. At this year's Home & Gift we have a range of designers who have specialised in this area. One of them is Natures Purest who are celebrating their tenth anniversary this year. Jane works with spinners, weavers and finishers in the Yorkshire region, but her work is exhibited and sold from Frankfurt to New York and Kyoto.

That was thirty years ago, but today it still remains to be her main source of inspiration. The Yorkshire based potter and surface designer has made her name with her blue-and-white illustrations and patterns, which are a sketchbook view of ‘What Kate Loves’: the beautiful nature of the British countryside. Here she tells us how it all came about.
