Regenerating Pateley Bridge


After a career in the police, Keith Tordoff took over the Oldest Sweet Shop in Pateley Bridge. Now, 25 years later, it is a thriving presence online and off and attracts visitors from all over the country. Keith has played a key role in regenerating the high street in Pateley Bridge, winning in the village category of the Great British High Street Awards in 2016. Not a single premises is vacant in Pateley Bridge and this year, Keith was awarded an MBE in the Queen's birthday honours list for his services to business and the high street.
